Service Description

Our joint injection service provides relief for pain and inflammation in conditions such as arthritis or joint injuries. During the initial visit, a thorough assessment will determine if corticosteroid injections are suitable for your condition. The second appointment includes the procedure, where the corticosteroid, pre-purchased by the patient, is carefully administered. Corticosteroid injections can reduce pain, swelling, and improve mobility. However, potential risks include infection, temporary pain or swelling at the injection site, or, rarely, weakening of surrounding tissues with repeated injections. We will discuss all benefits and risks during your assessment to ensure you make an informed decision. This procedure is covered, but the cost of the corticosteroid is the patient’s responsibility.
